This gentle treatment can be used to compliment traditional medicine
or can stand alone in effecting remarkable improvements in certain
conditions. Reiki is a hands- on healing technique that combines
channeling of the universal life energy with the warmth, reassurance
and healing power of the human touch.
It is a natural healing system designed to assist in bringing the
body back into balance. Reiki works on all levels of our being.
If there is a lack of harmony on any level this causes an imbalance
and, eventually illness. The aim is to bring back the harmony and
this is where Reiki can help. Many nurses are now adding Reiki to
their skills.
The Reiki session is carried out with your laying on a couch fully
clothed or sitting in a chair if that is more comfortable. After
a Reiki session you will feel very relaxed and peaceful. Reiki is
entirely compatible with other therapies and treatments.
